Digital-Monster are virtual pets released in 1997 by Bandai. It is a derivative of the Tamagotchi for boys.
The aim is the same than the Tamagotchis : You have to grow up and take care of your Digimon . On top of that it is possible to fight another Digital- Monster connecting them each other. This innovation made the success of Digital- Monster, which will even have its dedicated television series : Digimon.
